If you crave something with a decent heat but don't want to sacrifice your taste buds, then Indian brand Kaatil's No.7 will be your fiery companion. It starts slow, with a deceptive warmth that gradually builds into a decent heat (if you aren't careful with your pour!). That fire lingers just long enough to make its mark before quickly fading away, leaving you coming back for more.

At the forefront is the Lavangi chilli, known for its punchy, high heat. This chilli leads the charge, but thanks to a warm tomato, onion and celery base, No.7 is surprisingly versatile. From pizzas to noodles, it would be hard to find something this sauce doesn't complement.
