A trio of Thai entrepreneurs have revived their grandmother's original fiery hot sauce recipe, preserving a part of her memory in every bottle
Who needs bog-standard Sriracha when you’ve got Hanuman Sauce from Thailand? This isn’t just another chilli sauce recipe – it’s a family legacy, passed down through generations and brought back to life by CEO Kulwadee Tangjitjaroen, chief product officer Pichet Tangjitjaroen and chief marketing officer Nattapong Lertpanyasampatha.
The spicy sauce (you’ve been warned) was crafted from their grandmother’s original recipe, a unique blend of flavours the family has cherished for decades. After she passed away, reminiscing over her cooking inspired the trio to recreate the magic, bringing back that flavour and preserving her memory with every bottle.
The sauce is named after Hanuman from the ancient Hindu text Ramayana. The half-monkey, half-human god is a symbol of power and immortality, representing the brand’s strength of tradition.
