Conscious consumers Alex and Holly have created an incredible concoction of sauces that are good for your gut, the Earth and animals

Ultra Culture is Melbourne's premier fermented hot sauce brand.

The brainchild of long-time lovers Alex and Holly, Ultra Culture produces sauces in ultra-small batches and they're all natural, using seasonal ingredients that are good for your gut, the Earth and animals.

The founders are believers in conscious consumption and zero waste practices. All their new products are created from scraps and turned into explosions of flavour. They're also all vegan and gluten-free.

They have about 16 products that pack in a range of interesting ingredients to create genuinely unique flavour profiles. On House of Habanero you'll find a mind-blowing Barbados-style Banana + Scotch Bonnet, which incorporates house-made yellow mustard, as well as the incredibly delicious, smokey Morita + Garlic Dumpling Sauce, the closest thing they've got to a BBQ sauce.

We also can't get enough of the Garlic Habanasco, an everyday table sauce that's excellent on anything for which you might usually use Sriracha.
