This award-winning sauce, featured on Hot Ones, is inspired by the flavours of Assam, in northeastern India, home to the superhot ghost pepper. As an homage to the region, chef Brandon Clark created an aromatic curry base with a depth of flavour that balances the warmth from the bhut jolokia and the added heat from the 7-pot primo.
Diced tomatoes, garlic, ginger, onions, tamarind, lemongrass, Kashmiri curry powder are just a few of the ingredients mixed to concoct a complex flavour profile. Pair it with coconut milk for a quick yet delicious curry. It’ll soon become a go-to pantry staple.

Distilled vinegar, diced tomatoes (tomatoes, tomato juice, salt), garlic (garlic, water), ginger puree (ginger root, water, citric acid*), onions, water, salt, red 7 pot primo pepper mash (red 7 pot primo peppers and vinegar), tamarind, kashmiri chili powder, lemongrass powder, raw cane sugar, cumin, crushed brown mustard seed, turmeric, coriander, fennel powder, ginger, cardamom, fenugreek, black pepper, ghost chili powder, kaffir lime leaf, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, star anise.
