Pronounced “Boowjee”, BUWĠI takes its name from the Maltese word żebbuġ, meaning olives—and true to its roots, it celebrates the bold, briny richness of the Mediterranean. With a gentle spice level, this tapenade brings together Maltese and Kalamata olives, green chillies, sultanas, and marjoram to create a perfectly balanced mix of savoury, spicy, and subtly sweet flavours.

Whether you’re spreading it on warm bread, mixing it through pasta, or serving it as a dip, it delivers a satisfying burst of Mediterranean flavour with a hint of heat.

Ingredients

Olives 65.8% (green olives, kalamata olives), extra virgin olive oil, sultanas, green chillies 7.4%, sugar, vinegar, black pepper, marjoram.
