Filfli by Filfla Chilli Co. is a true Maltese original, an artisanal creation that captures the island’s bold, sun-drenched flavours in every spoonful. Built on a base of kunserva (traditional Maltese tomato paste) and sun-dried tomatoes, this elevated take on Maltese chutney blends bell peppers, onions, garlic, and red chilli peppers, rounded out with olive oil, carob syrup, and lemon juice for depth and balance.

The result is a vibrant, savoury-sweet sauce that’s unmistakably Mediterranean, uniquely Maltese and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

Onions, tomato concentrate, sun-dried tomatoes [tomatoes, sunflower oil, hot peppers, oregano, garlic, grape vinegar, acidity regulator: E330, antioxidant E300], bell peppers, red chillies 8.4%, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, sugar, carob syrup [carob extract, glucose], vinegar, sea salt, black pepper.
