Salsa Ruda Organic Hot Sauce

This is a Mexican-inspired hot sauce from Spain with Caribbean nuances and intense flavour. La Chipotlera calls it Ruda because, they say, it has no filter – and it is, quite literally, unfiltered, preserving the pulps and seeds within its gritty texture.

The serrano chilli that provides the base has a unique character forged during two years of slow fermentation. The habanero and chipotle add to the complexity. It might seem aggressive, but the delicate balance of flavours caresses the palate.
